Education: Graduated from Penn State in 1997 with a Bachelors degree in Infant and Early Childhood Development.
Years In Profession: I began working at Beginnings in 2003 as a Child Development Teacher in the Right From the Start program. In 2006 I decided to become a stay at home mom to my twins but was excited to have the opportunity to return to Beginning when they entered school. From 2013 to the present, I have worked as a Special Instructor in the Early Intervention Program. Before my time at Beginnings I worked as a Preschool Teacher at Head Start and an Assistant Director/Preschool Teacher at a local daycare center.
Family Life: My husband and I have 2 children and 3 fur babies. Most of my evenings and weekends are spent cheering my kids on at their numerous sporting events. In my free time I enjoy reading, gardening, working on home improvement projects, and hanging out with the family.
What do you like best about your work: I have always been amazed by the amount of learning, growth, and development that takes place from birth to 3. I am honored to have the opportunity to work with children of this age group and play a role in helping each child develop to their full potential.
