Education Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education/Elementary Education. I have an Associates degree from Penn Highlands Community College in Child Care and Development AND a Child Care Directors certificate. I am trained in Child Abuse Prevention Project for the state of New Jersey. I am certified as a WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan), Incredible Years, and Smart Parents Safe and Healthy Kids facilitator.
Years in this profession: I have worked in the Early Childhood field for over 25 years!
Family Life:Married since August 1977; We have five grown children, 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and several pets.
What do you like best about the work you do? I never tire of witnessing the wonder of life experiences in the faces of the children and the families of which I interact. I learn nearly as much from the children and their caregivers about life as I teach them!
