Educational Background: I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, 2001 and 2003 respectfully. I possess my license to practice Speech and Language Pathology in PA and have my Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Years in Profession: Since 2003
Family Life: When I’m not working, you can find me with my husband with whom I’ve been married since 2005 and our 2 daughters. Our girls are active in sports, which keeps us busy. We enjoy being outside as much as possible to ride bikes, swim, vacation or hike. Keeping up with our many pets and gardening is also something we enjoy doing as a family.
What I like best about the work I do: I chose to work in Early Intervention because I love working directly with families and children. The old adage “it takes a village to raise a child” holds true and I’m happy to a member of the village. I may an expert in my field, but families/caregivers are experts in really knowing their child. It is such an honor to work alongside families to give their child “the best start a child can have.”
